The Arlen Bento Jr. Golf Academy offers year-round golf training classes Tuesday through Saturday at The Saints Golf Course in Port St. Lucie. All classes are part of the Shoot Par Now™ Learning System and follow a structured training pathway designed to help players improve with confidence and consistency.

Each class is designed to help players develop real golf skills, understand how to practice effectively, and become more comfortable both on the range and on the golf course.  ALL CLASSES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE BASED ON AVAILABILITY

Private lessons and specialty training programs are also available. 

Registration & Player Profiles

All players create a player profile through the Shoot Par Now training system powered by Operation 36 to reserve classes and track training progress.

Class availability may vary slightly based on enrollment and seasonal demand.

🔴 Friday Junior Advanced Golf Class (Ages 12–17)

Time: 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM
4-Week Program: $180

1 Class Fee:  $60 member, $80 non-member (Register Online)

Designed for junior players ready for advanced skill development, performance training, and higher-level practice structure. This class supports long-term player development and prepares juniors for competitive and high school level golf.

🟡 Saturday Junior Intermediate Golf Class (Ages 7–12)

Time: 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM
4-Week Program: $120

1 Class Fee:  $40 member, $50 non-member (Register Online)

Designed for junior players building core golf fundamentals through structured training and progressive skill development using the Shoot Par Now™ Learning System.

Learn to Play Golf & Improve Your Golf Game with Golf Classes offered at the Saints Golf Course in Port St. Lucie from Arlen Bento Jr.

Golf classes are offered every 4 weeks, 2 hours per class, for 3 different skill levels that start the first week of every month from November to May.    

Skill levels:

Beginner (New players or players that score 100-120 for 18 holes)

Intermediate (Players that have completed Beginner Golf Class or can score in the 90-100 for 18 holes)

Level Up (Players that have completed Beginner & Intermediate Golf Classes or can score 100 or below for 18 holes)

Golf Classes are offered on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday afternoons at the Saints Golf Course in Port St. Lucie from October to May.

All Golf Classes feature the “Shoot Par Now” Learning System & Online Player Development Program powered by the Op36 app.

4 week golf classes are $240 for Members & $320 for Non Members.   Space available drop in fee is $100

All fees are paid before class at the Saints Golf Shop. 

Beginner Golf Class 4 Weeks $240 

GET STARTED: LEARN TO PLAY GOLF

Are you new to golf or still trying to break a score of 100 for 18 holes? Our beginner golf classes are the perfect way to learn the game, improve your skills, and gain confidence on the course.

Throughout this 4-week class, you’ll get hands-on instruction covering every aspect of the game: from putting and chipping to pitching, lob shots, sand shots, short irons, mid irons, long irons/hybrids, fairway woods, and driving. You’ll learn our proven “Shoot Par Now” Learning System, a method designed to help you get on the course and improve step-by-step.

No clubs? No problem. We have loaner clubs available for you to use during each class. Plus, if you bring a friend, you’ll receive a free training aid from Coach Bento!

CLASS DETAILS:

• Duration: 4 weeks, with one 2-hour class per week.
• Start Date: Classes start at the beginning of each month.
• Fees: Payable in the golf shop before the first class.
• Make-up Classes: If a class is canceled due to weather or other reasons, we will schedule a make-up session. If you miss a class, you may attend a similar session on another day, depending on availability.
• Drop-in Option: If space permits, drop-ins are welcome for a single class. Please check with Coach Bento or contact Arlen Bento Jr. at (772) 485-8030.
• Learning Support: All participants get access to Coach Bento’s Shoot Par Now Learning App powered by OP36.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (Q&A):

Q: I’m nervous about joining a golf class. What if I don’t like it or I’m not good at it?
A: It’s perfectly normal to feel that way! Our golf classes are designed to be fun and enjoyable for everyone. No one starts out as a pro, but with time and practice, you’ll see yourself improving. You’ll be amazed at what you can achieve, and we’re here to guide you every step of the way.

Q: What if I miss a class?
A: Our golf classes run for 4 weeks, with one 2-hour class each week. If you miss a class, don’t worry—we’ll do our best to help you catch up on what you missed. If your schedule doesn’t allow for all four weeks, you can consider private lessons or speak to your coach about scheduling a make-up class on another day.

Q: Where do I pay for the golf class?
A: You can pay for the golf class directly at the golf course, inside the golf shop, before the class begins.

Q: Where do we meet for the class?
A: We meet on the practice putting green, which is conveniently located right in front of the golf shop.

Q: Where should I park?
A: The golf course has plenty of parking available. You can also take advantage of our club drop-off service, where the friendly staff will help unload your clubs. Just let them know you’re here for the golf class, and they’ll take care of everything. A tip is always appreciated for their assistance.

Q: I don’t have any golf clubs. Can I still join?
A: Absolutely! We have loaner sets available at the course for you to use. If you’re looking to buy, Coach Bento also has new Cobra clubs available at the Saints Golf Course and a great selection of affordable used clubs at the Indoor Center in Stuart. Let Coach Bento help you find the right equipment for your game.

Q: What should I wear to the golf class?
A: Golf attire is recommended—typically a collared shirt and shorts or pants. Please avoid tank tops and denim. Remember to wear sunscreen, and a hat and sunglasses are always a good idea to protect you from the sun.

Q: What kind of shoes should I wear?
A: Flat-soled sneakers work best if you don’t have golf shoes. Running shoes are okay to start with, but they aren’t ideal for stability during your swing.

Q: What if it rains?
A: In the case of rain and a canceled class, we’ll offer you a make-up date to ensure you don’t miss out on any part of the program.

Q: I’m not comfortable with using apps on my phone. Will that be an issue?
A: Not at all! While we do encourage using the Shoot Par Now app powered by OP36 for extra learning tools, it’s completely optional. We provide handouts and personal guidance during the class, so you’ll always have access to everything you need to learn and progress comfortably.

HOW TO REGISTER:

• Payment: All fees are due at the beginning of each month and are payable at the Saints Pro Shop—no online payments are accepted.

Intermediate Golf Class 4 Weeks $240 

USE YOUR SKILLS FROM BEGINNER GOLF CLASS ON THE COURSE

• For players that have completed our Beginner Golf Class that want to get better with on course play instruction.
• Intermediate Golf Class offers on the course play in each class.

Level Up Golf Classes 4 Weeks $240 Includes Course Play

LEVEL UP YOUR GOLF SKILLS & CHALLENGE YOUR GOLF GAME

• For players that have completed Intermediate Golf Classes or players that are in private lesson program with Coach Bento.

Level Up Golf Classes focus on helping players “Level Up” their skills in all areas of the game including Short Game, Approach Scoring & Full Swing. 

Players will work into Coach Bento’s 10 skill based learning modules, practice guides, skill tests and more. 

Be prepared to learn how to practice, improve your skills and apply your knowledge to better course play. 

9 Hole Challenge “Shoot Par Now” 200 Yards $180 

COMPLETE THE “SHOOT PAR NOW” LEARNING SYSTEM

• You must be approved by Coach Bento for this 9 Hole Challenge. 
• Players who have completed Level Up Golf Classes can participate in the “Shoot Par Now” 200 Yard 9 Hole Challenge.

Goal is to be able to score a 36 for holes from the 200 yard length on the golf course.

Complete the “Shoot Par Now” program by playing 9 holes on the golf course from 200 yards on every hole making each hole a Par 4 hole.  

Players that complete the Challenge will be rewarded and recognized as completing the “Shoot Par Now” Learning System, photo with Coach Bento, recognition on the Shoot Par Now website and Coach Bento’s Instagram Page.
